Are the smaller players on the web diminishing privacy for data collection, too? It seems like most of them are just using the analytics/tracking/data collection tools offered by the bigger players like Facebook, Google and Amazon.

I imagine that tracking will become even more intrusive once the smaller players create their own solutions for collecting user data.
