It’s unfortunate because privacy is good for people…especially on the internet. User data is used in tons of ways that negatively affect people.

But the debate of privacy vs. security continues. Not only do people want to feel like they are protected by their government — they want to feel like if someone is thinking about something bad, then the groups that are responsible for surveillance over them will catch these malicious actors.

Privacy….it’s a crazy thing.
