Why You Should Avoid Using Google Chrome

Google Isn’t Evil, But Using All Google Products is Concerning

--

Using Google isn’t likely to cause you any harm (unless Google suffers a data breach). However, if you’re using Google’s entire product line, you could be sharing an absurd amount of information with a single company.

This level of data collection allows Google to get a very clear picture of who you are, what you’re interested in, and what you do on the internet. If you’re concerned about Google using this information to serve you creepy ads all over the place, you should try a private browser and a private search engine.

With the right browser and the right search engine, you’ll never have to clear your history again.

Chrome Has Become Spyware

Google’s browser has become another key source of user data for Google to power its massive advertising network. While other browsers like Mozilla Firefox at least try to minimize the cookies and other tracking you experience online, Chrome basically encourages tracking. Google uses the data it collects from Chrome and other products to target ads served on its ad networks.
