You Might Not Know This, But Your Search Engine Can Actually Hide Your Search History

A search engine seems like a simple thing. Just type in what you’re looking for and hit enter.

The problem with many search engines is that the search engine is collecting more information about you than you get from the search engine.

There are a few search engines that take your privacy seriously…and using one of them is an essential step to browsing privately.

HistoryHide

HistoryHide is a search engine, but one unique feature of this search engine is that your search terms don’t show up in your browsing history. Rather than being able to see everything you’ve searched for in your browsing history, you’ll only be able to see that you went to HistoryHide.com.

I’ve noticed that one of the main reasons that people use private search engines is to isolate certain browsing activities. People don’t want their search engine to know about their “sensitive” or “controversial” searches.

Private search engines that don’t track you don’t store information about your past searches. But if you use Google, your searches are stored in your Google account profile.
